About Zebulun Nash

Zeb graduated from UMR in 1972 with a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering and in 1976 he received an MBA from the University of Washington.   He received a professional degree from UMR in 1993 and an honorary doctorate of engineering in 2005.  Zeb was a varsity wrestler while attending UMR.  Zeb spent most of his professional career with Exxon Mobile Chemical Company from which he retired in 2009.  He was plant manager of the Baytown Chemical Plant and served the company in many other responsible positions.  Zeb is a charter member of the S&T Academy of Chemical Engineers, the Order of the Golden Shillelagh and serves on the S&T Board of Trustees.  He is past president of the Miner Alumni Association and has endowed several scholarships for chemical engineering and other engineering majors at S&T.  He is a member of many professional and community organizations and serves as director of the Family Service Center of Houston and as a director of the Texas Chemical Council.  Zeb and his wife, Harriet, have three children, Robert, Barbara and Theodore and live in Houston, Texas.  Zeb is serving the AMA as a member of the membership committee and attended the formation meeting in Rolla in April of this year.
