About Ronald A. Rosner

Ron graduated from UMR in 1989 with a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering.  In 1991 he received a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Illinois.  While at Rolla he earned varsity letters in cross country and track and was named to the MIAA All-Academic team for four seasons.  He finished fourth in the MIAA Cross Country Championships in 1988.   Ron is currently director of environment, health and safety for Haas Group International, a global chemical management services and distribution company.  Ron is a registered professional engineer and a member of a number of professional and technical organizations including the Aerospace Industries Association, Air and Waste Management Association, and the St. Louis Regional Clean Air Partnership.  He received the Abe M. Zarem Award from the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics in 1993.  Ron has one son, Brandon (also a runner) and they live in St. Charles and Lake Ozark, Mo., where they enjoy boating and water sports.  Ron is a member of the OGS and is serving the AMA as vice president and a member of the nominations committee, and attended the formation meeting in Rolla in April of this year.
