About Ron Hutchcraft

Ron attended UMR from 1982 to 1987, graduating with a bachelor’s of science degree in mining engineering and later earned a master of science in mining in 2007.  Ron lettered four years in football and track. He is married to Kelly Barnicle Hutchcraft  (MetE’88), who has enjoyed a 27-year career in the aerospace industry. They have two children, Michael, 20 and Nikki, 16.   During his 28-year professional career, Ron has held several top level management jobs in the coal industry and is currently the Director of US Operations for the Virto Group based out of Europe.  The family has resided in Sullivan, Ind. since 1993.
