About Lorenzo Hill

Lorenzo was born and educated in St. Louis, Mo., and as a recipient of the Curator’s Award, attended UMR from 1965 until 1970, when he received his bachelor’s of science degree in chemical engineering.

He was a member of Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity and played football from 1965-69 when injury prevented further competition.  Lorenzo also participated on UMR’s track & field team in the shot put while also holding the intramural record for shotput while at UMR.  He was an M-Club member from 1965-70 and Alpha Phi Alpha representative to St. Pat’s club from 1966-70.

Lorenzo has resided in Tulsa, Okla., for 31 years along with his wife of 47 years and three children.  He is currently employed by Willbros Engineering.
