About Diane M. Butrus

Diane graduated from UMR in 1985 with a bachelor’s degree in computer science.  She obtained a master’s degree in management from Maryville University in 1989.  She was a standout member of the softball team while at UMR.  Diane is currently chief operating officer for Diba Imports, LP in St. Louis.  She previously worked in responsible positions for Boeing and other St. Louis companies.  She is president of the board of managers of the Plaza in Clayton Residences and is a member of various professional and community groups.  Diane is a member of OGS and supports the S&T athletic department through two named scholarships, the Diane M. Butrus Leadership and Participation Softball Scholarship and the Diane M. Butrus Leadership and Participation Women’s Basketball Scholarship, as well as a number of other campus activities.  Diane also provides support for the Transfer Transitions organization on campus.  Diane lives in St. Louis and enjoys biking, skiing, hiking, rafting and kayaking.
