ME'88, 2012 Inductee
Darrin graduated from UMR with a bachelor degree in mechanical engineering in 1988. Darrin was a four-year letterman in football and was a member of the Miners’ 1983 football team which earned a share of the Missouri Intercollegiate Athletic Association title with a 4-1 record in league play and an overall mark of 8-2. He earned MIAA all-conference honorable mention honors twice for the position of nose guard and was co-captain in both 1986 and 1987. Darrin has held a number of different positions in ExxonMobil Corporation and is currently Vice President of Marketing & Technology for ExxonMobil’s Fuels, Lubes & Specialties Company. Darrin is active in a number of professional and community organizations including the Rotary Club and the Boy Scouts of America. He is also a founder of the Talley Family Endowment Fund with the Miner Alumni Association which provides scholarships to engineering students at Missouri S&T. Darrin and his wife, Sarah, currently live in Vienna, Va., with their two children, Denver and Anna.
