About Chris Nisbet

Chris graduated from UMR with a Bachelor’s degree in engineering management in 1984.  While attending UMR, Chris was a member of both the varsity football and baseball teams.  Chris was quarterback and co-captain of the Miners’ 1983 football team that earned a share of the Missouri Intercollegiate Athletic Association title after posting a 4-1 record in league play and an overall mark of 8-2.  The Miners finished that season with five consecutive wins by an average of more than 14 points per game, one of which was a shutout over the Central Missouri team it would share the title with.  Chris was a catcher and co-captain for the Miners’ 1984 baseball team.  Chris was honorable mention all-MIAA in both football and baseball.  Chris is a project director for educational and commercial projects with McCarthy Building Companies and has been with McCarthy for 25 years.  Chris is heavily involved in a variety of community and civic organizations.  Chris and his wife, Lynne, live in St. Louis with their four children, Christopher, Maudie, Margaret, and Libby.
