Tim Hudwalker earned a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering in 1988. A member of Sigma Phi Epsilon, Theta Tau Omega, ASCE and Chi Epsilon, Tim walked on to the basketball team as a freshman and ended up as a four-year letterman, playing 96 games in his career. He played his first two years for Billy Key before Dale Martin took over as head coach for Tim’s final two years. Tim was also a two-year letterman on the golf team, coached by the legendary A.C. (Bud) Mercer.
After graduating, Tim earned a master of engineering degree from Clemson University in 1990. He started his career with H.B. Zachry Co., constructing oil and gas facilities in the gulf coast region and in 1995, joined BSI Constructors as project engineer. He moved his way through the ranks to become vice president in 2013 and currently serves as project executive for numerous notable clients in the St. Louis region. With 30 years in the construction business, Tim has managed commercial and institutional projects of all sizes and was instrumental in the rebuilding of Forest Park, as well as the A.G. Edwards (Wells Fargo Advisors) campus in downtown St. Louis. Tim serves on the building committees of Ursuline Academy and Mehlville School District and is on the board of directors of the Associated General Contractors of Missouri (AGCMO).
Tim has been married to Shari (Stambaugh) from St. James, Missouri, for 30 years, and they have three grown children. Tim’s father, Marvin, PetE’59, and Tim and Shari’s son, Jon, EMgt’18, are also Miner graduates.
