David is a 1957 graduate of MSM with a bachelor’s of science degree in electrical engineering. He got married to his wife, Marlene, in 1963 and the couple has one son and four grandchildren. He played four years of varsity basketball and gained a live long love of the game. Globally recognized for his contributions to the pump industry, he worked 57 years for three pump manufacturers. He retired in 2014 as Colfax Fluid Handling’s SVP global engineering to be Marlene’s caregiver. A twenty-five plus year member of US Hydraulic Institute, he served eight years on their Board of Directors as vice president of technical affairs. He has also been active in international standards as Chairman ISO TC 115 SC 3 and is the author of numerous presentations, standards, papers, patents and recipient of Hydraulic Institute Member of the Year and Lifetime Service Award.
