About Randy Hauser

Randy graduated from UMR with a bachelor’s degree in metallurgical engineering in 1983 and received a Master’s in business administration from the University of Chicago in 1990.   In 2002, Randy received a professional degree from UMR in metallurgical engineering.  While attending UMR from 1979-82, Randy was a football letterman who earned all-conference honors at cornerback in 1981 and a year later, was named first-team All-MIAA and Academic All-America.  He has worked as  development engineer, district sales manager and president of BSW Corporation and has been CEO of Chicago Metal Fabricators since 1993.  Since 2003, he has been an active committee member of the American Welding Society and a committee leader of the City College of Chicago.  Randy and his wife, Mara, live in Geneva, Ill.  In his free time, he enjoys coaching youth sports and sailing on Lake Michigan. The Hausers have two daughters.
